This Peach & Lily Mist is the quick spritz to glass skin: Review

Glass skin, otherwise known as the Korean-rooted skincare trend, is when your complexion looks nearly void of pores. In essence, this is somewhat of a fallacy because (1) your skin needs some pores to survive and thrive and (2) it can create a somewhat false perception of the skin’s natural state.

However, we all want our faces to feel smooth, rejuvenated and straight out of a Disney princess cartoon. And, with #GlassSkin garnering 180.5K views on TikTok (at the time of publish), it’s a topic we all want to watch, learn about and tune into.

Meet the Peach & Lily Glass Skin Veil Mist. It’s the simple, spritz-and-go glass skin primer or finisher that allows you to hydrate and take full rein of the dewy, refreshed look your skin will soon confer.

This isn’t the brand’s first foray into the glass skin domain, either. In 2018, the brand launched its Glass Skin Refining Serum ($39) which is undeniably one of its most popular, risen-to-fame products. When paired with the new Glass Skin Veil Mist, your skin will feel kissed by heaven in the best way.

Ahead, I reviewed the Glass Skin Veil Mist, along with some other Peach & Lily formulas you’ll want to incorporate into your skincare routine. I’m not one to claim any skincare product is a miracle worker but, this one, especially when coupled with its signature Glass Skin Refining Serum, is pretty dang close.

Pros:

  • Provides an instant “glass skin” look
  • Hydrating and non-irritating to sensitive skin
  • Includes natural cucumber and peach extracts to soothe the skin while upholding a fragrance-free formulation

Cons:

  • The price point may be unreachable for some
  • Pairs better with the Glass Skin Refining Serum ($39), which is an added cost, though is still efficacious on its own

The Peach & Lily Glass Skin Veil Mist is a nontoxic, silicone-free hydrating mist that delivers a noticeable, instantaneous glass skin look. Because it’s so versatile, you can spritz it on throughout the day to keep your skin feeling dewy and locked in with hydration. Not to mention, its liquid spritzer is jam-packed with antioxidants.

Our review

Peach & Lily Glass Skin Veil Mist Review

Understandably, reviewing a mist of any kind won’t warrant a 10-page research paper. It’s a pretty cut-and-dry operation but I truthfully was impressed by the product’s ability to make my face, at any time, come with more of a glow and an overall refreshed appearance. The kicker? There’s no shine, no slippery and “greasy” feel and no irritation when applied, whether as a makeup primer or a midday refresher.

Listen, I’ve spoken with a full assembly line of dermatologists who offer TED Talk-like speeches about environmental stressors and their unfortunate impact on the skin. What’s great about the Peach & Lily Glass Skin Veil Mist is how it was keenly formulated to combat these adverse effects on our epidermis. That’s our skin’s outer layer, FYI.

I use the mist as the grand finale in my skincare routine more than anything else but I do find myself spraying the Glass Skin Producer onto my face right before a work-from-home Zoom meeting (that’s right, no video filters needed) from time to time. It’s also the well-fitting morning wake-up product I love to use, especially when there’s an *extra* earlier start to my day.

What’s more, I couldn’t stop looking at my dewy skin in the mirror. It truly felt more revived, as if I exited the most enthralling spa appointment of my life. The feeling is likely thanks to its natural cucumber and peach extracts that are said to support the skin barrier.

Most of the skin barrier-supporting products I’ve used have been moisturizers and, what’s truly remarkable about the Peach & Lily Glass Skin Veil Mist is how it measures up to cream-like formulations because of its long-lasting hydration. This came as no surprise as I fell in love with the brand’s Pure Peach Retinoic Eye Cream ($43); it was one of the best eye creams I reviewed among 50+ options in my testing queue.

As mentioned, the Peach & Lily Glass Skin Veil Mist can confidently stand on its own but below are some of the products, in order, that I use when I want to give my skin the *everything* experience:

  • Ginger Melt Oil Cleanser ($35): With antioxidant-rich ginger, clarifying pineapple and papaya and soothing sunflower seed and grapeseed oils, my skin feels not only fresh when using this product but well-cleansed and a bit bouncier.
  • The Good Acids Pore Toner ($39): Because toners help to mitigate the appearance of pores, I love using this product as a precursor to the brand’s Glass Skin Veil Mist. It’s gentle when rubbed into my skin, especially at the apples of my cheeks, and it’s a non-skipper in my current lineup.
  • Wild Dew Treatment Essence ($39): I consider this product my “pre-glass-skin-treatment bath.” Instantly, I found my skin less dull and more supple than before, and it was a lovely next-step product following the toner.
  • Glass Skin Refining Serum ($39): Obviously, this product made the cut. Its name speaks for itself and it’s the cocktail of hyaluronic acid, peptides, niacinamide, peach extract and East Asian mountain yam that my skin surely craves.
  • Matcha Pudding Antioxidant Cream ($43): As soon as I tried this product, I thought, “wow, the name feels like a dream.” And, it does, because its creamy matcha-colored whipped feel dollops onto my skin to soothe with its unbelievable pudding texture. At night, I’ll sometimes opt for the brand’s Overnight Star Night Cream ($45) that’s a bit richer, though also just as dreamy with its acai berry infusion.
  • Peach & Lily Glass Skin Veil Mist ($31): The ultimate finisher is the cherry on top of my skincare sundae. Though it stays with me for a variety of purposes, I love using it as the concluding hydrant to lock everything else in place.
