‘Badass’ Princess Anne wields unruly horse at Trooping The Colour: ‘Nothing she can’t handle’

She’s not horsing around.

Princess Anne won praise for wielding an unruly horse outside Buckingham Palace during Trooping the Colour on Saturday.

The Olympic equestrian — who made history as the first member of the British royal family to compete at a Games back in 1976 — rode a steed named Noble during this weekend’s event.

An unflappable Anne, 73, calmly kept control of the excitable animal as she rode alongside her brother, Prince Edward, and her nephew, Prince William.

Video of the princess, clad in her royal regalia and riding the horse, went viral on social media, with many praising her skills.

“Princess Anne’s equine skills came into play today. She did well to stay calm and her younger brother, Edward, Duke of Edinburgh looked on and made sure she was okay,” one said. Getty Images

“Princess Anne, a master horsewoman and expert equestrian,” one wrote, accompanied by a flame emoji.

“Princess Anne’s equine skills came into play today. She did well to stay calm and her younger brother, Edward, Duke of Edinburgh looked on and made sure she was okay,” another chimed in, adding a clip from the event.

“Nothing she can’t handle,” a third cheered.

Another declared the no-nonsense princess was a “badass.”

Anne — who is King Charles’ younger sister — later appeared on the Buckingham Palace balcony alongside her brother and her husband, Sir Timothy Laurence.

During that moment, all eyes were on Princess Kate, who made her first public appearance since announcing back in March that she was battling an undisclosed form of cancer.

The 42-year-old wife of Prince William looked to be fighting fit as she smiled and waved to adoring crowds.

She was accompanied by her husband and their three children, Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6.

Kate also shared a sweet moment with her father-in-law King Charles, who is also battling cancer.
