Golf fans want to know what happened to Amanda Balionis’ wedding ring

Even with Tiger Woods out of the Genesis Invitational with an illness, golf fans were fixated on Amanda Balionis because of her wedding ring-less finger.

After she was shown on screen as CBS’ 19th hole reporter, social media flooded with questions paired with engagement ring emojis about Balionis’ marriage to Bryn Renner.

“No ring hmmmm?” a comment reads on her most recent Instagram post, highlighting recent interviews with Hideki Matsuyama and Rory McIlroy.

“Nice but why no wedding ring?” another commented.

Since the questions emerged this weekend, Balionis has not given any hints as to her marital status, keeping to her Instagram profile strictly business .

Balionis was wearing the ring a week earlier in Las Vegas while covering the Super Bowl, which could be seen in a series of photos she shared on Instagram.

She can be seen wearing her wedding ring in a mirror selfie photo.

Both her Instagram and X accounts still have her account name as “Amanda Balionis Renner.”

Renner is a former North Carolina quarterback who also had a brief career in the NFL, and he tied the knot with Balionis in March 2022 after meeting in 2019.

After the Super Bowl, which saw the Chiefs earn their third title in the last five seasons, Balionis made the trip to Riviera in California for the golf tournament.

She shared a few photos and videos on her Instagram Stories on Sunday after Rory McIlroy joined the broadcast for a little while after his final round was complete.

“I cannot tell you how it cool it is to have the best players in the world join our broadcast team and share insights like this. So proud of our entire @golfoncbs team for making moments like this happen. Also a massive thank you to all of the players who take the time to do this. It makes the product better,” she wrote.

At the conclusion of the weekend, Balionis said she will see her followers in April for the Masters at Augusta National Golf Club.
