The Nets made their third pick of the NBA Draft on Thursday night at Barclays Center, selecting forward Jalen Wilson with the No. 51 selection.
The second-round pick broke through during his senior season at the University of Kansas, averaging 20.1 points and 8.3 rebounds per game.
Wilson was a consensus All-American and won the Julius Erving Award for being the nation’s top small forward.
Wilson, who won a national title in 2021, finished as the 14th-best rebounder (802) in school history.
Earlier in the night, the Nets selected Noah Clowney and Dariq Whitehead in the first round.
